Our Guide

Paul Hatcher grew up in Northwestern Colorado where he spent winters big game hunting with his dad. He was only six when his father taught him how to handle a shotgun and he was just 12 when he shot his first buck deer. Hunting quickly developed into a passion for Hatcher. It was his way of keeping peace with nature to connect to deep-rooted, primordial instincts, an understanding of which is more often than not denied in modern society.

“My greatest childhood memories were of my grandfather and my father taking me out hunting and teaching me to appreciate nature,” recalls Hatcher. “Operating Ivory Outfitters I plan to keep hunting lands available so that other families can experience that same profound connection with nature as I did growing up. Ivory Outfitters is created to serve as a dream getaway for friends and family and clients who will certainly become friends. Our ranch is the one place they can travel where they are guaranteed to breath in the freedom of our spacious ranchland while connecting with nature at its very core.”

A proven soldier, Hatcher has served in Iraq seven times since 2003. His return to Colorado and Rio Ro Mo Ranch to open Ivory Outfitters was a lifelong dream.
