Elk Hunting

Northwest Colorado boasts one of the largest elk populations in North America with approximately 65,000 elk inhabiting the areas in or around Craig, Colorado, making this the elk hunting capitol of the world.

Each year up to 10,000 Elk migrate across the Rio Ro Mo ranch between the months of October and January. The average bull harvested on the ranch during migration is five points or better.
